Born in post-World War II, Loxstedt, Germany to displaced refugees, Reiner Kremer immigrated to Toronto, Ontario in 1955, then to the Elizabeth, New Jersey in 1963. He attended Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey, obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology (BS) and Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine (DC) from the National University of Health Sciences, Lombard, Illinois in 1977) and Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine (NMD) from the American University of Integrative Medicine in 2001. He has served on the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners from 2001-2009 and the American Chiropractic Association House of Delegates. He is currently enrolled at the University of North Dakota, School of Medicine Physician Assistant program and is serving in a family medicine primary care preceptorship under Paula Castro, MD and co-preceptorship under Alan Stage, MD. He has actively served the health care needs of Elbert and Douglas counties in various capacities since 1977.
Dr. Paula Castro, MD has been licensed as a physician and surgeon by the Colorado Board of Medical Examiners since July, 1999. In 2006, Dr. Castro was recertified as a diplomate by the American Board of Family Practice. From 1986 through 1999, Dr. Castro was licensed as a physician and surgeon by the California Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Castro is also a certified Medical Acupuncturist, receiving her training at the University of California at Los Angeles.
